Thanks Guys for a great day of riding. There nearly were 2 rides, half of us missed the first turn and the group was now two.
Nobody planned any specific route and we flocked in a general northern direction. The first part was a bit sandy with us struggling along between sugar cane and dunes. There were a couple of beach accesses but none of us had the guts to wonder into "go to jail" territory.  From Mvoti we followed an unmarked route that was used when constructing the N2. There were still some sort of low water bridge left at the Nonoti river and it took some collaboration from the team to decide if we will attempt the crossing or ride all the way back. The river was not the problem, getting down to the river was. There were two problems, there was an accident on top of the N2 Bridge a while back and all the timber was scattered below on our path, and secondly there was a very steep and slippery drop down to the river. I was first with everyone helping, with some skill and luck everyone made it through intact and without incident.
It was getting late and we had to push on to Zini, from there a bit tat to the railway bridge over the mighty Tugela.  We all arrived in good spirit and with growling tummies in Zini, Thank again guys.

It's the orange headlight covers.

You wont believe what happened, I edited all the nice pictures to post them but somehow they all got deleted from my computer. By that stage I already deleted the originals from the camera as well......so the pics you see is the ones that was left. Pitty, there were a couple of very nice once of the bikes going through the water, the pic of the mvoti in flood was also deleted.  :-[

Thanks for the great ride guys!!!
The sand riding was great fun, and some of the muddy sections made for entertaining stuff :)
Nice to see so many tenere's on one ride
Big thanks to 777 for meeting me and escorting me to the start point, and also to Jules for taking me on the most awesome scenic route back to salt rock.

Very cool to meet you all and see some of the riding to be had in this area. I'm a bit stiff this morning - man am i only unfit  ;)

Note to self... if you ride with siracs, make sure you have the tools to remove the wheels when you get a puncture  :ricky: - hope everyone got home safe in the end!
Peter
