This is the 82 RC the 83 RD had a metallic paint job, box swingarm and had a slightly shorter front fairing. Otherwise almost the same bike, the 81 RB was the first of these bikes and they are quite scarce as not many were built. We were lucky to get 200 of each model

Unfortunately some guys would rather " invest " 50K + in a Honda XRL than a very capable KLR going for less . A little bit of tuning of the shocks and you can easily outrun a XLR and have a more reliable ride
