'09 KLR 650 idle jet

Hi all
I am wanting to go up a size on my idle jet and at the same time change the idle mixture adjustment screw to one with a thumbscrew on it.

I have heard that the Harley 1200 Sportster has the same carb (CV40) and has a thumbscrew type adjustment. Anybody done this?
