I've actually posted the same on the BMW Thread, for my old 1100.
I'd like to give my 1984 XT 600, 34L a service again.
I'm saying "12000km", that's what the engine has on since it was rebuilt by the previous owner
Bike has about 73000km on the odo now.
Most stuff has been replaced/restored/re whatever.
What should I do, apart from the usual service items (oil, filters, plugs etc) here?
Talking "preventative" things.
NO issues, funny noises, NOTHING.
Carb is also 200%.....kicks easy, no issues there at all.
Valves??? (But, again, NO issues)
Check timing chain thingy?
Steering bearings?
Etc etc etc?
OR, just service?
