Ama ride ride
Grey Hound
With my previous bike, an AT, I had a twin 12V socket fitted. Being a baked beans on toast and camping person I used the sockets often.
Now with my 1200GS, BMW said it?s a big no-no if I plug anything not BMW approved in the bikes standard 12V socket. They said if I do and the electronics blew the guarantee wouldn?t pay out. This pissed me off a bit. So I bought some time ago a 12V socket that clips directly on the battery. BMW said this is ok.
But as the seat need to be removed every time I needed power it became a hassle so I want to fit a normal sized twin 12V socket permanently to my bike.
Can you guys give me any tips?
