I can get a 1979 XR500L for R4500. its old (just as old as me!) and it looks tatty on the pic i have seen, i havent seen it yet in person. but apparently the engine is still fine and the licence is one year behind.
IF i buy it i would like to clean it up a bit and then i might commute with it but it will mainly be a toy to be used in sand and mud. :ricky:
what do you guys think? bargain or heap of crap?
edit: this might actually be a XL500R and not a XR500L - I dont know yet...
