Hi all

one of my December holiday/ Lockdown projects is the bike below:

I literally rode it into the garage, and when i removed the plastics for a once over deep clean (including removal of a family of button spiders)  I somehow pulled out a wire that was not part of the original wiring loom.

I lost spark on the plug, so i tried numerous spots to see where the wire was connected to, and eventually got spark again, fired the bike up, and turned it off, and put the plastics back. Tried to start it again and there was no spark.....

I have no idea what to check.

I have tested the numerous things, but cannot get it to spark at all.

Please see below pics for descriptions.  (I know it's hard to troubleshoot a wiring fault on line but maybe I'm missing something)

It looks like they tried to bridge something out.

But I'm not sure
