2008 model 1200 gsa front wheel clunk

So i was sitting on scoot the other day rocking bike back and forth, when pulling front brakes amd rocking i hear and feel a distinct clunk noise, after closer inspection i see what can be seen on the first clip, second clip is of axle shaft in bearing, seems to have play.

Thought wheel bearings, replaced them still the same
Question:
Normal am i chasing ghosts?
I checked yoke / neck bearing, no obvious movement detected when i pull on forks

Any ideas, i will be booking bike into Jughead whem back from holiday
