I found my rear shock leaking yesterday on the way back home after taking a couple of big knocks on the tar, felt as though most of the oil is out of the shock. Ass is still tender. It is the ESA version
Now, I have done a search and seems the options are to either replace or refurbish. Seeing that the bike has done 72 000km already, I think replacing is the way to go.
Now I have a couple of questions
1) is it an insurence claim or not? (I assume they might not be so enthuasiastic)
2) has anyone with this experience ever had a problem with the mounting point on the swing arm damaging or braking afterwards?
3)I would like to go the progressive spring route, what are the options?
Thanks guys
