Hi Chaps
I know the topic has been discussed to death regarding the lean running of the DOHC motors and the surging, pinging etc associated with it but has any finality been reached on the problems other than fitting a power comander?
I have heard of guys fitting a resistor so that the ECU is fooled into thinking the temeprature is lower hence richning up the fuel mix. This apparently simple fix seems to be working according to the guys i know who have it fitted. I was/am about to pull the trigger on DOHC but am a little hesitant because of the negativity surrounding this problem
Any feedback to help seal or avoid the deal will help.
