I bought this bike new on 7 Jan 2010.
Just under 54 000km's
It was mainly used to commute to work and did about 30% of the 54k km's on gravel.
I personally did all the minor services myself, with oil changed every 3000 km's although its advised that oil be changed every 5000km's. Major services were done by specialists.
No part on the bike was left unattended to if it needed replacing.
Extra's and modifications on the bike:
Bolt upgrade kit (Lecap)
Rear subframe professionally strengthened (Lecap)
Handle bar raisers
Doohickey replaced by Lecap (10000km’s) with Eagle mike doohickey and torsion spring was added by CapeKLR (everything rechecked at 42000km’s by CapeKLR)
Crash bars (strengthened by me and has got a few passion scratches on, but nothing serious)
Front suspension upgrade to progressive springs at 30000km’s (Superfoxi)
Rear shock serviced at 45000km’s and spring replaced with a stronger one (Superfoxi)
Front foot pegs changed to steel pegs
Bash plate
Berserker exhaust
HID lights
Hand guards
Parts replaced recently:
New front tire (Michelin T63)
New rear tire (Mitas E07)
New brake pads
New front brake disk
Service was done on 52000 km’s and valve clearances adjusted by CapeKLR.
New grips
Parts not fitted:
Original exhaust
Numberplate tail piece
Original plastic bash plate
Original springs front and back
Things that need replacement:
Front sprocket (I have got one that has been used but it is not fitted and can still go a while)
This is an honest sale and no chancers will be given attention. Only serious buyers please and no joy rides (Can take it for a spin, but not a trip).
I gave this bike a lot of love and care and it was used for what it was built for. All panels are original and you will see that upon viewing. I am the first owner and with family expanding I need to change a few things. This bike has got a lot of life left in it and will take you far!
