Not sure if any WDs have had problems with the new EFI KTMs yet.
There is a recall on the (black) 10 micron fuel filter that is in-line just before the injector.
I checked mine today and it was full of junk. The fix is to replace with a (grey) 20 micron filter which I am trying to source now.
Other people have also added a Golan or CanAm fuel filter in line, and removed the small filter completely.
The small filter is shown here (black), on the RHS:
The replacement (grey) 20 micron filters:
KTM P/N 78141013044 or superceded by P/N 78141013190 (to be investigated)
The recommended fuel sock that goes at between the tank and the tank cap:
KTM P/N 78107990000
Suggested in line filter CanAm P/N 709000100, shown with protective rubber to prevent from rubbing on frame/engine:
Alternative suggest in line Golan filter P/N 70-312G:

I am going to see what the local KTM dealer says, in the US guys are getting the new filters for free under recall. I doubt that will happen here, so I will most likely leave the filter out and get the CanAm one which costs around $25. Will also get the tank sock which is $30.
