I took one look at the Annual Bash thread and it was obvious what general route I would take to get there, i.e. through Namibia. I am pretty sure that a couple of others among you will also be thinking the same.
So I thought I would start this thread, in which I plan to ask a million questions about Namibia, such as road conditions, which routes to follow and where best to stay.
However I don’t want this thread to be just mine, I reckon it will make a great central place for all those dogs thinking about going through Namibia to ask questions and share thoughts. I just hope that those with the experience will share what they know here. I’m sure they will.
I know it’s still five to seven months away, but I also know how time flies.
Ok so let me fire off the first question. I see in my map book that for the Alexander Baai border post a person needs a permit. Can somebody please tell me what this permit is, and where I can get one?
