I bought the bike 3 months ago at 4000km to do a trip, bike is a code 3 that basically means it was in an accident and repaired, original owner dodged a dog and put it down, insurance offered to replace bike as it was still new. The guy I bought it from was a mate of his, he replaced the front rim which was damaged and a few cosmetic bits and used it up until I bought it to commute. Bike is in very good nick, 5000km service recently done by Zambesi BMW. I have put a high screen on and sorted out a few bits that I felt needed sorting. Rear rim has a small ding and rev counter does not work but otherwise fine. Bike has the following.
* ABS.
* Heated grips.
* Headlight protector.
* Spare short leavers, std fitted
* Top box bracket
* Original service and handbooks.
* +- 5800km
NB: No top Box as per pictures, fell off whilst trailering :angry5:
I came off a KTM 690, I was looking for something different for long distance touring so I decided to buy cheap to try it out first and now that I am 100% happy I have ordered and brand new F800GS. Bike is in daily use for commuting to work and back. I have the bike with me in Ellisras but I am in JHB this weekend if anyone there wants to view. Roadworthy should still be valid and license fees all up to date.
