To all the manne out there that know
This morning i dropped my GS 1200 Triple Black 8713 km off at the local dealer with two problems
1) Problems with the ignition switch one battles to switch the bike on or of OK no problem switch will be replaced
2) The other problem is more difficult the bike has a distinctive PING when accelerating at low rev,s NO THE BIKE IS NOT IN THE WRONG GEAR
3) I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT ALL GS 1200 have this problem WELL dogs my grandsons GS 1200 Triple black 5000 km does not PING
Can anybody shed light
