Hi everyone, I'm new to Adventure Riding and only got my ride (30 500 km odo) yesterday. Very excited!
I've read that vibrations on 1200s are not necessarily a major issue, but would appreciate your thoughts. The bike drives great, but when I let go of the throttle there is a definite vibration, which I can feel on the handlebars and seat, between rpm range 5000-4000. Above and below it's not really noticeable. The vibration seems to be greater in higher gears. But if I open the throttle or pull in the clutch, it disappears. So I'm thinking it's engine related (and not necessarily the drive shaft). Should I just accept it as 'normal', or is there something that can be done about it? Any advice would be appreciated!
