Only saw this now, did some of those roads as a lightie with my dad in his F250. Good memories. we camped at the Watreberg as there was nothing there then.

Just received Day 3's videos from Smurfie; Dankie ou maat!!...................

The road between Tsumkwe and Grootfontein is a long one. It was made a lot more interesting by turning south just after the Vet Fence and travelling through the farms. Some of the roads south of Grootfontein, on the way to Waterberg were rather exciting, to say the least. Part 5 of the videos shows a bit of that.

Videos posted from Part 1 to Part 5

Enjoy!!

Really nice videoss guys :drif:
Do you have more of the sandy sections before Tsumkwe?

Very nice, part of me will always love that country!  :thumleft:

OK, here goes. Smurfie has sent the last day's videos. They're pretty low key without any surprises. From Waterberg, a slow trip southwards towards Okahandja where we rejoined the tar about 30 kms north of the town.

After a final top up of fuel, we enjoyed a hot coffee and something to eat before hitting the last 70 kms to Windhoek

Thanks to all the participants for making this a wonderful trip with a few special memories.

Till next time...............................

A special thanks to Tiaan (Smurfie) for making, and providing the videos

Where to next?  :3some:

That was nice to read and watch, thank you very much!

What a RR!!  Those sand tracks look scary and it looks like they provided many "moments" on the trip.

Well done! Respect
