Come and join us for the 6th Annual Global Super Sunday for the BMW superbike enthusiast and owner, where South Africa sets the world record every year with the most participants. This is an event organized globally where all S and K owners get together as a community to share their passion worldwide - organized through BMW-K.COM
On Sunday, September 16th owners of S and K-model BMWs’, throughout the world, will be taking to the road to celebrate their machines. Whether you ride a classic K100 or a ‘state of the art’ K 1600 enjoy your bike with those who understand your passion about BMW’s heritage.
We will meet up at Bavarian Motorcycles at Centurion Gate (co Akkerboom and John Voster Drive, Centurion) on the morning of the 16th September 2012 at 7:30 to leave just after 8:00.
We will all start off from BMW Centurion (Bavarian Motorrad) and head towards Hartebeespoortdam Engen 1stop (co R104 and R512) where we will meet up with some of the northwest crowd and to re-fuel to be able to make the stretch towards sun city. We will arrive at Harties +- 08:45 and wish to leave at 09:00 towards sun city. Those who will be meeting us at Harties, please email/phone me so that we don't leave anyone behind.
En-route there will be a front runner, and a sweeper to ensure no one gets lost.
At Sun City there will be a decent buffet breakfast for R85 at the Cabana hotel (with parking arranged for us right up front) which includes free entry to Sun City and free entry (to be obtained at the hotel reception) to the valley of the waves. Remember to bring a bathing suit and a towel, its spring after all!
There will not be a formal group ride back (although most leave in groups after breakfast), so that everyone can enjoy the scenery at Sun City and the Valley of the waves.
