After a year of troubles & even replacing the gearbox on Tonto (...KTM 950), we finally found the problem... ourselves! :
The slave cylinder was shot! To replace it, we had to drain the clutch fluid. Now we have to fill him up again but - problemo!!!
Nobody's got ORGANIC clutch/brake fluid... Not even ProAction?!?!?
Found out, the reason for the organic fluid is that if the seals go, the fluid on the 950 drains directly into the gearbox (...not out as on other bikes) & this might cause the bearings to seize. I've now got advice to use 5 weight fork oil...??? But that's also synthetic?!?
Samblief help! ???
