As reference, were based in PE
My son has a 2009 990 adventure, gearbox stuck in 5th gear, no changing up or down
Bike has been at a workshop for many months, ja ja ja
It had to go there as it has a mechanical warrantee, then the mech/owner went for an operation, then recovery blah blah
Mech Recently started work again, stripped clutch to see whats up,
Clutch basket apparently good but bike needs a gearbox,
Received a call, come fetch the bike[emoji19] he will not be able to complete the job before shutdown etc
Does engine needs to be split?
What to look out for, what tricks is there
Anyone have an electronic version of workshop manual
Possibility of a 2nd hand gearbox available in Knysna
Where else can we search
What tricks is there that will help
My fingers might be old but not round, my son is a diesel tech, as is his friend, spanners and willingness sorted
