My wife keeps them in her handbag.

That was my old TT600 being ridden by my mad mate Charl Smal - he did not have a bike of his own at the time and I simply could not let him stay behind in Cape Town when I had another bike in my garage.

I seized that TT600 while racing another mate (who was riding my old Dakar- the one that I wrote off last week) from Muizenberg to Bredasdorp to see other mates riding the Epic - Tim in town then rebuilt the motor and I sold it soon afterwards - an absolutely mental wheelie machine !

Great read, your sarcasm and humor are brilliantly linked together. Await the next report.

Lekker entertaining read Justin, really enjoyed it! You are a very natural story teller, look forward to more trip reports in the future!
By the way....this is probably the first trip that your bike has done without me, that bike of yours has belonged to 2 of my ride buddies and I have ridden with them on basically every trip they ever did on that bike! Glad you are enjoying it, it has been an awesome bike and has done some awesome trips with special memories!

Justin - man this was cool reading
Reading the report now after doing the trip with you and Erman the non German is great
I forgot to say thanks for the RR as I got back to Houtbay and a whole **** storm that was going down at work
Company liquidated and a new employment option came to life

I must say that Justin is one of the laziest swines that I have come across - as our Master, Justin pissed off following some directions that his GPS did not even know about as our supposed path finder I soon realized that he did not like picking up bikes
The number of times we turned around and retraced our steps I knew that this man was no rat in a maze

This left me to sweep and help Ermin the non Germa pick up the dreaded Dakar / leaning tower of pizza ever time it decided to loose some weight in the river beds of the Namaqualand
This Dakar must have gone down what felt like 59 times between 11am and 3pm in the 35 deg heat

One thing that we seemed to underestimate was the water requirement in these conditions
At one stage we were detouring to anything that looked like a building hoping to find water
This was like basics in 8 SAI Upington
You don't feel like you are sweating because it just evaporates

Once we had topped out at Die Hell we realised that we had a potential water problem as well as a potential fuel problem
It was great to get to Pella and have a whole lot of ice cold beers and a braai

All in all a great trip guys
Sorry this is a bit late but I really enjoyed spending time with you

Regards Grant / Kneelo
