Its difficult riding heavy bikes over technical stuff. I admire riders who do. I bought a new BMW XChallenge thinking I was the cat's whiskers for of road stuff, and went on a BMW ride in the hills near Pilgrims Rest. The BMW chief sales person arrived on a KTM250 2-stroke. He was the only rider to have fun.  :imaposer: He knew what he was doing alright!  Now I have. bought a TE310 for Lesotho. It only weighs about 108kg. When I drop it the plastics bounce straight again and it is difficult to hurt yourself.-

Easily one of the best RR's I've read in a while. So where is the rest????? And when will you do a long trip, I'll buy the book! :thumleft:

:sip:

The best RR so far, say it like it is, RESPECT, better than "the long way down"

Awesome RR - so keen to get into the clouds later this year!

Great writing and awesome riding!  :thumleft:

Were all those pics taken with a GoPro? They are stunning.

Stunning pictures. Love your writing style when you bring out a book I'll sure want to read it.
I love it when a person puts his heart and soul out there in a RR. Its not just all factual and one can relate to the author's feelings in every situation because you've had them at some stage too but would not always admit to it.  ::)
This report belongs is the hall of fame for good reads, well done

Thank you, all, for the very kind words.
If just one person enjoys reading this RR it's worth writing it.

I promise I will finish this report soon.
Between a family holiday and loads of work I've just not had time....
