Cheers everyone, it's been real. As soon as I'm done posting this, I'll be deleting my profile.
Now, the only reason I'm posting this message, is because I've seen this happen before. Someone deletes their profile, and the chatter starts. why did he do it? should he have done it? it's so lame! it's so lame that we're discussing it! he's so lame! he's an idiot! some people! etc etc etc
It's not that I think I'm a rockstar, or that people will care that I'm leaving. it's just that, it does get discussed. and rather than people wondering why i've left, i'd rather just tell everyone (at least, for whoever gives a sh*t) :mwink:
firstly, I spend way too much time on the forum. sure, I could cut down, but it's not always that easy, and it can be a distraction. I'm an easily distracted person
secondly, without getting too petty, things have come to a head for me in a thread I was discussing today. i am a self proclaimed, never denied it, gear head and bike lover. as my signature says, i have 2 porn folders on my PC - labelled "bikes" and "gear". however, this reputation has got me to a place where i get more comments about what i ride and what i wear, or how full of nonsense i am, in a thread, than actual useful, usable information about the topic being discussed. coming back to point 1, not only am i spending way too much time on the forum, but it's also frustrating me, and to be honest, a waste
before you call me a cry baby that needs to get over myself, hear me out. i'm not asking for apologies, i'm not asking for sympathy. I'm not pointing fingers. I'm just letting you know what's what. I guess maybe for me my perspectives have been a little skewed over time and i've made it all about the wrong things. so i'm going to do a little less talking, and hopefully a lot more riding.
don't miss me too much, i'll still see you at kriges, and i'll make sure i hijack as many rides as possible. o and you can be sure that when i return, my first post will be a for sale post for my xchallenge (so that everyone can kark me out for not introducing myself.)
