Having torn ligaments in both ankles before i am a bit paranoid with ankle protection, even though my type of riding is restricted mostly to easy gravel. Full MX boots is overkill for the application (although i would love their protection), but some level of comfort and waterproofing is needed on an adventure boot.
So i have been searching for something along those lines and have come up with two boots that seems to offer good ankle protection, the Sidi Adventure 2 boots and the Alpinestars Toucan GTX boots.
