Never had that.... but I will stick some alu film on for that purpose when I mount that pipe.

Mine doesn't have that shield, so I will assume - a dangerous thing to do on here mind.... - that such came with later models.
It is however what I will do, got a similar thing lying ready here.

Indeed, I would assume a change on the later models. I also notice that they changed the rubber on the fuel caps too. Nice to see that they are making the improvements as they go along.

My bash plate only had 2 rubber washers fitted, so I added the missing two rubbers. So just check yours.

Did a general check on the bike and re-routed some of the wiring I wasn't happy with. Small little things like hose clamps rubbing on the radiator can ruin your day.

These some rather large connectors in some places. I opted to replace them with smaller ones.

Some required basic fittings required:

- Tail pack
- Hand guards
- Foam grips
- Folding mirrors
