I'm looking for advice. I've tried the search function and there is just so much information to sort through, so I thought I'd just ask.
My cousin and I are planning to do a one night trip to/through Baviaans over the long weekend at the end of April, it'll probably be from Sunday the 29th and back on the Monday. It's short notice I'm sure, being a long weekend and all but we're going to make do whith what we're "allowed"! >
What I was wondering was:
- What would be the realistic distance to head into the Baviaans for just the 1 night, to make it back to PE the next day? We don't want to be rushed and will most certainly do it again when we have more time available.
- Where would be the best place to sleep over (camping) and are there braai places/wood available?
- Is there fuel available anywhere on the route?
- I assume you need to take all food with you?
Anything else I should know?
Thanks,
Archer
