My betterhalf, the German, did her BMW training and bought a Suz GSR600 a while back. GSR is simply too wild for a relative inexperienced rider and my nerves eventually packed up. She sold the GSR to my son which made her the best Bonus Mom in the world, of course.
We are looking for a small, light beginners type of bike for her until she is comfortable in all aspects of bike riding, dodging taxi's and other 4 wheel hazards. During this time she will also have to make up her mind whether it will be gravel or tar roads in the future. Guess about a year from now, we will be looking for something else but if you can ride properly, the choice is so much easier. Went shopping and she saw the Kawa GPX 250. Stole her heart but we all know that it is not based on anything mechanical, rather looks. What do you say about her choice? Anybody with experience on this type of bikes? I can always put Honda stickers on to make me feel better about the buy.
Oh, did I mention, she is vertically handicapped and her feet barely reach the ground on this 250?
