Hu Guys
Need advise here
I have a part in the Yamaha control box of our small boat that broke.
The metal looks like a pewter(ish) thingie, I have sent it to 1 or 2 Guys in town, they say they cannot weld it.
New control box is CRAZY money, almost R 7000. And the little part even crazier - R 1400!!
I've Googled:
Some say that you can use a "ystergom" like JB Weld or Loctite, but the surface must be VERY clean and prepped with rubbing alcohol (thinks thats the name).
We can do that, no problem,
BUT
1st Prize would be welding the thing again.
Is this possible??
Its a VERY small part, I can even courier it anywhere
THANKS
