I was just curious, what are the general experiences with the aerotrim or any make of aerofoil device on the KTM adventures?
I have read quite a few positive reviews of it on BMW's, and thought I would try it out.
I bought one from our local KTM dealer, nogal with a KTM marking on it, made by Aerotrim.
My first impressions were that it made the buffeting worse, not better.
I was however not able to test it on all possible levels as it broke off and went under the back wheel.
And that was within the first 5km's of riding with it!
(Maybe the fact that it was about -5 Degrees at that time played a roll in it.)
Went back to the dealer today, and they will bring this under the attention of the suppliers and see where this leads.
At R520 this was one expensive exercise, hopefully I will be refunded.
So, be warned!
