Hi all Dogs
Has anybody been up the West coast of Africa recently -like in the last 6 months.
2 of us are planning a ride from Cape Town to the IOM going up the West Coast to avoid Sudan and Egypt.
Route will be SA, Nam, Angola, Congo DRC, Congo, Gabon, Cameroon, Nigeria, Niger, Albania, Spain (EU) and finally IOM.
We will be doing this as a no frill ride - ie no sight seeing just riding a much as possible everyday with some rest days in between.
I`m intersted to know about tips for visaz, fuel - particular in Albania - looks like long distances between fuel stops, bribes, good accommodation etc and any general lay of the land info that will assist in making this a bit easier.
Looking forward to getting some heads ups.
