I have a Gen lamp that glows faintly instead of going off completely.
It has done this for some time so clearly I have sufficient charging happening.
Getting 13.8 volts into the battery at 2000rpm.
I have done all the usual diagnostic tests on the stator and diode board.
New rotor and voltage regulator hasnt changed anything.
I assume given the design of the Airhead charging system and particularly the Gen lamp, I have some resistance in the Gen lamp circuit somewhere.
Anyone know where the likely culprit connection is?
