Hallo to all riders
Bought my Honda Transalp V650 (2005 model) in Sept 2010 and went on my first overland in Dec 2010. Did 2500 km in 5 days. This was a great trip. Will post my trip report and pics very soon.
Before this adventure I had a Honda CRF 450, tearing through the countryside doing off road. sold it and went all "grown-up". Prior to the CRF I borrowed a friends 1984 XR 500.
Had a 250 XL in the 80's as a teen. IT taught me how to ride...not the other way round. I have the scars to prove it.
Plan on doing regular outrides and would like to get in touch with the other Transalpers in the Pretoria area.
