Anybody got any experience with AMA cordura pants and jacket??
I saw some people wearing the AMA gear the last two weekends and it looked pretty good.
So i went to the shops today. I fitted the jacket, they did not have my pants but they can order. The quality feels pretty good. I know everybody says i should look at the Lookwell gear but the supplier in PE said he is struggling to source the Lookwell gear. On the other hand the AMA Jacket is only R1100 and the pants R1200 and the Lookwell gear is more than double that. They also had a really nice airflow jacket for R700.
The stuff is all wind and waterproof and they've got removable winter layering.
Bare in mind i am a KLR rider and an armgat so i am seriously considering the AMA kit. It will leave me with more beer money.
