A while ago I watched that Amageza Youtube vid (sorry cant link it now) of Alex where he has a fitness test that you "should" be able to complete (back then it was 80 days to go to Amageza 2013). I wrote down the exercises and started to do the routine. All I can say is that I'ts bloody hard to complete in the stated time. I'm half way there with the reps, and I consider myself sort-of in shape/fit.
Will work up to that soon, and I'm running a bit as well. Time to ride is scarce, one ride every two weeks currently, but will step it up on the MX track over September and October to get bike fitness in, planning riding on twice a week then.
