Not in my wildest dreams could I have hoped for a more successful day.

Firstly to the riders, Thank you for attending. Thank you for the sprit that you showed, that was true Amageza. At no time did I see anything but smiles, even when the eyes were looking a little less than sparkly. Without you guys and gal the dream of The Amageza would not see the light of day, Thank You for making it happen.

And now a huge Thank You to Warren ( Wookie, the GPS geek ). Without your help, commitment and patience, I would be more grey than I am already. I owe you big time.

To all the Marshalls. Thank You for your enthusiasm and diligence to the task given to you. Again you guys made my day less stressful. Report back from the riders was that you all had huge smiles and words of encouragement for them. This was greatly appreciated by them.

To all the photographers, Thank you for getting out in the hot sun to get that shot. I have seen some of the photos…wow, looking good.

To the Gyrocopter pilots, Thank You. I believe it was not easy flying on Saturday and the skies were very turbulent. Glen, I am glad you got down safely.

And to the Girls in those flying machines, Thank You. It was not an easy task that you grabbed with both hands, but I know you had huge fun, can’t wait to see the photos.

To the doctors, Thank You. I know you had very little to do on Saturday, but then means you had a good day. Thank you for organising for the emergency services to be on stand by and the all the advice you gave me. Again that was one less stress I had to worry about, oh I forgot to ask you for an Ativan in the morning. LOL.

And lastly to Heine and all the staff at ADA Outdoor and Training Experience venue, Thank you for accommodating The Amageza and opening you doors to us and letting us use all your facilities.

hehehhehe,

the Capies only ride sand and the Gauties only ride rocks!!!

:ricky:

I was going to throw some river beds in for fun but unfortunitly it would have added nearly 90 km's to the route.....so I just added some sandy gravel roads
