Dude

Your latest post brought out some emotions in me that I didn't think were still there regarding time spent in Angola.... but I will leave that discussion for another time.

Thanks for all the effort in sharing most amazing report I have ever read.

Eers was dit Boetie gaan border toe, nou word Boetman de bliksem in.....but isn't it amazing what the sharing of same interests can achieve, like in 1995 the Rugby World Cup for SA and in this case biking between two former allies.

Amazing how bridges are build....thats the beauty of live.

Awesome stuff guys, I can associate myself with this.

Hope there are some more to come!!

MJ this report just gets better and better.

You have a talent.

MJ - once again thank you for the wondeful report. I have to agree on the political stance - like Goose said, let the politicians donner each other and leave the rest of us alone... I hate those M@#%$%@F$#%@@$%S - we bleed for their kak. Listen to Piet Botha (the other Jack Hammer). He mentions it in "Goeienag Generaal"...

Maybe a bike trip to Angola will do all us ex-warmongers good?

deep man deep....

H

Growweblaar, Nardus is the Camelman look-a-like, the rest of us are ugly donners.

He's just got a way with them, I guess, but in Monte *****, he came second ;D ;D

This makes me think........Lets pool resourches and go and do a good deed there. Donate medical supplies, fix a shot up school or cresh. something like that.

I can help - have some contacts.  We help supply some people who look after animals in Zimbabwe (medicines and money), so have and idea of how to go about this.....

Good idea / intention. Yes, we caused alot of pain there and I feel as shi'te about it as it seems the rest of you do, but right now our own country needs our efforts - IMO.

Wow. What a report. Fokkit ouens, wat kan ek se?

Sal self weer my stomping grounds in suid-Angola wil gaan uitcheck.

Use it, don't use it.

Some pics of our time in Lubango. Waiting for MJ trying to sort the 640

We really felt sorry for Fred, and he looked battered that morning in Lubango.
The left corner of Fred's Dakar headlight has embedded into it forever Doodsakker sand, he will have to keep the light when he eventually sell the bike. How de hell it got in there is a complete mystery, it's embedded into the 2 layers of glass.

While sitting waiting for MJ and Hennie to fix the 640 we had some time to spend staring at the locals going their way in this busy city.

Africa!!!!!!! and they want their cars to look like a rapper, ****-star, drug dealer pimp mobile.
