Now that I have done my formal introduction in the new member section I guess I can come forward and confess I bought a 2005 KLR yesterday. All in all not too bad shape, guess first things first is to get it through roadworthy and on my name.
I'll be asking a lot of questions here so Im sure you knowledgeable okes will be able to help me out.
I have started a small list of things I'd like to change/add as and when money comes in. It is silly season afterall so the moolah is min...
Previous bike was a BMW Dakar on which I did quite a bit of self maintenance so not scared to koekeloer and do it myself. Have downloaded the 2008 service manual but not sure how much it differs from the '05?? Can I still use it?
