I originally had my heart set on a pair of Gaerne SG10's but I have since discovered a pair of Sidi Crossfires for half the price of the SG10's.
My question is:
I usually wear a size 9 shoe (43 euro size)
After trying on a pair of Sidis, I found that one oversize felt most comfortable (USA 10 / Euro 44)
but the salesman is adamant that I choose two sizes bigger than my shoe size. He want's me to wear USA 11 / Euro 45.
The reason is apparently because I have to wear heavy socks with the boots and the boots get kinda hot so my feet will also swell.
What do you people who have spent some time in MX boots say? Should I get the comfy fitters or the oversized stompers?
