Any info on Kareevlakterivier Pass? Thumper Bash route

Hi Dogz, I am going to the Thumper Bash with a small group but trying some new unfamiliar roads.
Has anyone done Kareevlakterivier Pass?
Through Montagu, via Joubertskloof, up Ouberg Pass, but then instead of continuing on to the already familiar Sewefontein and Prinsrivier Passes, we are considering turning right towards Bellair Dam, then over Kareevlakterivier Pass towards Prinspoort.
Does anyone know that road and can offer any info on it?
