Hey guys,
On the 22nd of Dec, on the way home on my 390 Duke, gear shifts felt funny but I didn't think anything of it. I stopped at Dischem and when I came out, the motor had white blotches all over and there was fluid under the bike. It was clear, looked like oil but didn't feel or smell like it. I rode the bike directly to Raceworx and they delivered the bad news - my bike turned into a chocolate milkshake maker!! The head gasket popped. :lamer:
"To keep me happy" they gave me a 2015 1190 Adventure. Long story short, I'm hooked. Got it on 9400km, now has 10400km.
Total quote comes to just under R143k, incl ergo seats for my fiance, touratech topbox and touring screen. :ricky:
Are there any major issues on these bikes which should sway my decision?
