Anyone fitted a tube in the front tyre?

Have tried everything to stop a very slow puncture on my front wheel, I've only had this since fitting an E07 tyre but am now giving up and considering just putting in a tube, maybe extra thick enduro tube.
Any negatives thoughts on this?
