Hi all,
I have recently found a dream bike for my dad in great condition and at a great price. The seller appears to be legit but has lost the papers. The bike has remained in storage for the last 25 years or so. He has given me the engine number and the frame matches and the old Transvaal number plate. As the bike is in great condition we would like to get it on the road.
Before I buy it I need to check it isn't stolen and that the owner is the owner so that we can get new papers etc. Does anyone have a mate in the traffic department who could check the engine number and plate for me?
