I'm looking for a set of 17inch rims for my motard project.
Mags preferred.
I fitted some last night, and found some needed knowledge about them.
Front rim must have 300mm disk on the left (from seated on bike, clutch lever side) or it can be double disks. Need rim with disks please.
I tried a 3.5inch front rim from a VTR, it just touches the sides, so anything between a 2.5 to 3inch should work. With 300mm disks fitted please
The rear I need is a 17" to fit a 130/140 tyre. With brake disk and sprocket(cush drives etc) Sprocket can be worn and size doesn't matter.
Front and rear mags must match please
Had a look at a TZR 250 set and they seem to be close to what I need.
