1969 BSA A65 Lightning
This features an imported big valve head, oversize valves, twin 32mm MkII Amal carburettors, single disc brake (as allowed by the regulations), modified valve gear, etc. It is a well tried machine with many trophies to its credit.
This trailer was being built at the time for the Bantam trials bike. It was sadly never completed before the owner passed away. This is a BSA 650 Gold Star. I have not checked but all the parts for the rebuild are apparently there. What is should look like:
Shelves of engine casings, cylinder heads, hubs, gearboxes, etc, etc. Even one box FULL of Amal monoblock carbs and spares.Lots of brand new parts and rebuild kits.
Triumph/Norton Special (Triton)
This was the bike before the teardown.
This comprises a Norton frame housing a tuned Triumph “Bonneville” engine.
Everything being sold as one single batch. Lady looking for R125k for the lot. Bikes, tools, manuals, spares, everything. Red BSA in the first pic was raced on Isle of Man.
