Maybe sounds silly but many outdoor type watches has maps with the ability to import GPX files. Obviously it's not going to be moerse screen with nav on the fly but stopping and glancing at your watch maybe easier than taking out your phone ? Thinking about a fitness watch with extra ability for when you are out on a motorcycle
