My boet in the UK says he will buy me a 'big 0' birthday pressie ... I have suggested a new enduro helmet ... now I am thinking either the Arai TourX3 or BMW Enduro ... there is about 100 quid difference with the Arai the more expensive (not sure this would worry him!). What do you guys think TourX3 or Enduro. I know go try them ... which I have done and will do again.
I owned an Arai Maverick/Renegade that was light and an awesome fullface but then went for the flip-up's cause I wear specs and so much easier - first the BMW System 4 then the System 5. Also the enduro style fullfaces with visor were not out then ... now I want one due to the advantage of the peak, although I will keep the System 5 as well. From what I read the Arai is a better bet ... although the BMW helmets are made by Schubert that are also top class stuff. The Arai peak seems sturdier and less prone to vibes (and they have improved it even more on the 3), also Arai has more options in terms of visors and padding inserts. But I am open to input from WD's!
