Whilst visiting Mosskays yesterday I found a range of lekker cleaning products for biking gear, called NIKWAX. They have stuff for waterproofing of boots, leathers and cordura. I bought some of the cordura soap, I am always nervous of chucking my Rally 2 kit into the machine with normal detergent, but this stuff is made just for that, and it restores the waterproofnes(is there such a word?) of the fabric. I am sure most outdoor shops and good bike shops would have the product. It originates from the UK, if anybody needs waterproofing it is the Poms, so it should be good!
