Saturday arrived and what great weather accompanied it. Breakfast was cancelled at Cannon rocks so I decided a slow ride to Bathurst would be the mellow thing to do.
Five minutes later (+/-) I smelled Nanaga farm stall pies and promptly pulled in to buy some road/breakfast chow.
The route from here is a true GS highway,(KTMs would be bored with a road like this.) excellent smooth riding all the way and so I slowly cruised enjoying everything around me, eventually I was back on tar near Port Alfred which was having a bike rally, Spring rally or something and I saw quite a few road bikes with pissed owners and a whack of snobby ones who don’t believe in greeting.(wankers)
Well I arrived at Bathurst bought some books and went to the overgrown pineapple to have my Nanaga pie before shooting down to Edgys place at Kasuka to watch the Boks get nailed. While I was Edgy s spot Throttle Jockey gave us lessons on how to siphon fuel from a car using a whole hose pipe 10 meters +.sorry I did not take photos.
Thanks Edgy for the cold ones and the route and to Throttle Jockey. :thumleft:
Anyway here are some photos of the area I went through.
