I recently bought a BMW 1150GS,16 July2012 to be exact and unfortunately for me made a huge mistake as this bike is far to heavy and tall for me and hence I am selling this beautiful bike before I drop it.

I did not test ride the bike as my mind was set on this bike due to its brilliant reputation despite friends cautioning me against the sheer size of this bike, it took me long enough to find the right one in this pristine condition too.

2002 BMW1150GS
49000km's
Mandarin colour
Full service history at BMW motorrad
Wunderlich tank pads
New SW Motech wide adjustable footpegs
Non- ABS model
Large BMW Top box
BMW paniers
50 000km service done two weeks ago at BMW Zambezi

I am selling this bike in order to buy a smaller bike and have spent the following money on the bike since I bought it,I paid R55000.00 for the bike, spent R4650 for a full inspection and diagnostic test, major service and new BMW battery,R1200.00 on SW Motech wide footpegs, R490.00 on Wunderlich tank pad and R390.00on license and registration.

BMW Motorrad Zambezi did a full diagnostic and full mechanical appraisal, checked throttle bodies for balance and checked TPS voltage  prior to myself purchasing the motorcycle.

A full service where all the engine, diff and drive shaft oils were changed, all brake and clutch fluids replaced, clutch and brakes bled ,all belts checked and all filters including new air filter and oil filter replaced.

I also asked the 1150GS guru"Welsh" to check this bike out before I bought it as it seemed in such pristine condition whereby I got the nod immediately too.

I would like to buy a smaller bike which I still could tour with but that is much lighter and lower and hence will be selling this bike to do exactly that.

I am sure the first serious buyer will immediately buy this bike when he or she sees the condition thereof.

Interested buyers can take the bike to any BMW Motorrad dealer for inspection if required.

I have only done one trip of 238km's on tar road only around Hartebeespoort dam with Kykdaar since I bought the bike and I must admit it is an awesome awesome bike but too much for me.

I am selling the bike for R58000.00 which I think is fair since I spent over R62000.00 on the bike a month ago

PM me if interested  :thumleft:
