Best GPS for DS Riding

I have read all the topics on GPS and although there is a lot of info I still canâ??t seem to draw up a list of possible GPS units to buy. Is there only one choice (Zumo 550) or is it not as good as it seems? The price is quite steep are there any viable alternatives?
